Slench[1] is a dark theme in Metroid Prime Hunters, composed by Lawrence Schwedler.

It plays during battles against the bosses of the same name. It is also available as track 19 in the game's Music Test after Gorea's second form is defeated.

The theme contains rhythmic bass beats and a chanting choir, with a metallic riff introduced half a minute into the song.

Slench has similar rhythms to Vs. Ridley. It should be noted that Metroid Prime Hunters: First Hunt contains a remix of Vs. Meta Ridley with very similar instrumentation and arrangement to Slench. With many other tracks from the First Hunt demo being the basis of the final game's soundtrack (such as a Planet Tallon IV arrangement that would later become Alinos Gateway), it is likely that Slench was built off of this Vs. Meta Ridley remix.

This theme can be heard here.
