The subject of this article is not named in-game.
The current title is from a guide or other published source.
Snomers[1] are arctic variants of Geemers seen in Metroid: Other M.
Description
The Snomer looks nearly identical to the Zebesian Geemer, although the Snomer features blue skin, white spikes, and green eyes. By extension, they are also related to Sovas and Zoomers.
Snomers are found in Sector 2 / Cryosphere of the BOTTLE SHIP. Behaving just like the normal Geemers of Other M, they will come out of the ground, but with much greater frequency. They are also capable of rolling into a ball and leaping toward Samus to attack her rather than just being an obstacle.

This article, section, or file contains text that is unofficially translated by Metroid fans. Some information (such as proper English names of characters or items) may not be accurate. If an official translation becomes available, the fan translation(s) may be replaced.
"Geemers have countless spikes growing on their bodies. While they mostly crawl on the ground, they will quickly jump out at Samus. Snomers inhabit Sector 2, and Sovas inhabit Sector 3."
Trivia
- Another breed of Geemer that has adapted to frigid conditions, known simply as Ice Geemer, exists on planet Excelcion. Since Snomers have only been seen in the BOTTLE SHIP, it is possible that Snomers were artificially engineered as bioweapons by the Galactic Federation, while Ice Geemers are a natural adaptation of the species.
