Space Pirate Crate

Space Pirate Crates are lightly armored conical crates that are used by the Space Pirates in order to carry supplies, health, and ammunition in Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. They explode easily even under standard weapons fire.

A larger, more durable variant of the Space Pirate Crates also exist; these devices usually contain larger amounts of energy and ammunition. They are usually found in areas with high Space Pirate activity. Large Space Pirate Crates appear to have some sort of complex spinning locking mechanism.

There is also a different, simpler type of Space Pirate Crate found in Metroid Prime 2: Echoes.
