Space Sound[1] is a short flourish in Metroid Prime 2: Echoes and Metroid Prime 3: Corruption.
In Echoes, the theme is heard during cutscenes showing Aether from outside the planet, at the beginning of the game, and at the end when Dark Aether is destroyed. A more uplifting variant can also be heard in the ending cutscene when Samus emerges from Dark Aether in the Hall of Honored Dead.
In Corruption, this theme no longer has the deep percussion that was present in Echoes, and is heard in cutscenes where Samus is flying her Gunship out of the Bryyo, Elysia and Pirate Homeworld Seeds as they are exploding. It also plays as Samus is flying to Norion from the G.F.S. Olympus.
