Spectral Locks are a type of lock that only appear in Metroid Prime Hunters. They are very similar to Proxy Locks, save for the fact that they are invisible to the naked eye and can only be found with the use of the Scan Visor. They appear in the Cortex CPU in the Vesper Defense Outpost and the Sanctorus on the planet Arcterra. In the former situation, Samus must scan them to raise a lift that is holding the Battlehammer, allowing her to acquire it. When Samus enters Sanctorus, she will be locked in, forcing her to search the room for these locks.
