The Spinner is a device similar to the Bomb Slot, first introduced in Metroid Prime and featured in the rest of the Prime Trilogy. To use a Spinner, Samus must use the Boost Ball to cause the mechanism in the Spinner to begin rotating. This spinning mechanism is linked to a nearby object, and repeatedly using the Boost Ball will have some effect on the linked object. When the object has been fully moved or activated, Samus will automatically be ejected from the Spinner. If Samus stops using the Boost Ball before the object has been activated, it will slowly return to its initial position or state. A Morph Ball Bomb can be used to exit prematurely.
This is a standard Spinner device. The generator belts of the Spinner can be activated by rapid rotational force. Use the Boost ability of the Morph Ball when inside a Spinner to activate the device.
