Subventilation Shaft Section B is part of a network of ventilation shafts on Deck Beta on the Frigate Orpheon in Metroid Prime that Samus travels through after the Parasite Queen battle in order to escape the vessel. This section contains a swarm of Parasites that is most easily avoided using Morph Ball. The room is inaccessible after the frigate crashes, due to the fact that the door to it in Cargo Freight Lift to Deck Gamma is powerless and cannot be reactivated. It cannot be accessed by Subventilation Shaft Section A either, because the door on the other end of that room (connecting it to Biotech Research Area 1) is also powerless and cannot be reactivated.
