Sumi Arisaka (有坂 須美) (born in Ichinomiya, Aichi Prefecture, Japan) is a Japanese mangaka (manga illustrator).
Arisaka illustrated the artwork of Metroid: Zebes Invasion Order, while Nobuyuki Shioda wrote the story. A gallery of her scanned drawings in Zebes Invasion Order can be seen here. When illustrating Samus Unmasked for the gamebook, Arisaka was only told that the character was female and had long hair, so she interpreted Samus as having black hair.[1]
Other manga[]
Arisaka has also illustrated a number of other books, some of which contain adult content. None of these stories have seen release outside Japan:
- Rapuntseru Ibun (1992)
- Sword Gale Gaiden (1994)
- Genyou Gakuen Kitan - Artemis Half (1995)
- Shin Rapunzel Tan (1996)
