Sun Generator Light and Sun Generator Dark[1] are two versions of a theme in Metroid Prime 2: Echoes. They were composed by Kenji Yamamoto.
The themes play in Energy Controller rooms on both Aether and Dark Aether, with slight differences between the versions. The light version is last heard in the Sanctum, as Samus is collecting the last of Dark Aether's energy.
Sun Generator Light includes Luminoth chiming instruments (also heard in The Luminoth theme), atmospheric effects and the humming present in the Elevator theme in Echoes.
Sun Generator Dark includes the Elevator effects, as well as wind effects, the "whirring" from the Dark Samus Intro theme, and the echoing sound from the Dark Agon Wastes theme.
