Super Kihunters being blasted by Samus' Plasma Beam.
Super Kihunters are variations of the Kihunters found throughout Other M. They are blue in color with crystalline growths on their heads and their wings. They seem to be the next stage of the Kihunters' life cycle, as they replace most normal variants in the latter parts of the game. However, Super Kihunters are currently seen only within the Bottle Ship and nowhere else; this implies that they are an unnatural form and possibly a result of experiments and research performed by the scientists onboard the ship.
Trivia
- In Metroid: Other M, Super Kihunters emit a chirping, cricket-like cry unlike the screeching sound made by normal Kihunters.
