The Super Metroid Limited Edition Print is a promotional poster for Super Metroid. It was available through the Nintendo Power Super Power Supplies Catalog in winter 1994[1] for $15 USD. Only 2,000 copies of this poster were produced, making it a collector's item today. Its official measurements are 27x33 and it can glow in the dark.
Despite being for Super Metroid, the poster actually depicts the stock art for Metroid II: Return of Samus, albeit with improved lighting, as well as more stars in the sky. As the image has been flipped, Samus Aran's Arm Cannon is thus on the wrong arm. The Super Metroid logo is displayed above the smoke emanating from the Arm Cannon barrel.
The poster includes a white border, on the bottom of which is the individual poster’s production number, as well as Samus's signature. This is one of two known instances of the character having a personal insignia, with the other being the Japanese Super Metroid guide (seen here).
