Unknown creature[]

After you destroy the first anti-air cannon, and you head down the path after it, you quickly come upon a dead body that when scanned says it "Corpse is riddled with energy bursts from drone and turret weapon fire." I can't make out what it is.... anyone know what it is? Its got four limbs and looks slightly bug-like. Dark Ridley 22:50, 9 November 2008 (UTC)

Better late than never, I hope. It's a Warp Hound. :D Dazuro 21:01, 24 April 2009 (UTC)

Nearly forgot about this. I though it might have been one, but seeing as the typical warp hounds you meet keep on moving, are slightly glowing, and disappear when killed, I didn't have anything to compare it too. Dark Ridley 21:21, 24 April 2009 (UTC)

I double checked it with the creature's model. No doubt at all, it's a telepuppy. Dazuro 21:23, 24 April 2009 (UTC)

Reptilican history[]

After a while of deliberation, I have boldly removed the content related to Reptilican history in this area. Just about all of it was based on either flimsy speculation or outright false info, which doesn't belong on any wiki.

  • It was claimed that this area was a permanent residence for the Science Lords during the war. I've carefully read through all Bryyo Data entries, and none of them support or even imply that they took refuge just here. To back up the speculation, the article claimed that this single area somehow represents the full 4% of Bryyo that remained habitable after the war (despite only being a few rooms on an entire planet), with two flimsy pieces of evidence:
    • Craters in the Cliffside Airdock. There are no craters in that room (and not all that many in the rest of Bryyo Cliffside), and even then, smalö craters are not evidence of complete devastation. Besides, the Cliffside has a moderate climate and is teeming with life including primal Reptilicus, which directly disprove claims that it was rendered uninhabitable.
    • Blue stuff in the Fiery Airdock. Somebody thought this was a virus of some kind, but it's just Rundas' ice and his spaceship. Just like Bryyo Cliffside, Bryyo Fire contains plenty of life, including primal Reptilicus, and is therefore still habitable to some extent. Phazon is corrupting it in some other places, but that started long after the last Science Lords were dead.
  • It was also claimed that the last Lord of Science built Mogenar here. Not Mogenars in general, *the* Mogenar you fight as a boss. Neither the boss' scans nor Bryyo lore (written by the last Science Lord himself) say where it was built, and Bryyo Cliffside contains a lot more Mogenar golems than Thorn does. The fact that Mogenar ended up as a Phazon Core guardian suggests that it may have been in the Thorn Jungle when the Leviathan hit, but that's not true evidence of anything.
  • Finally and most damningly, the "Life" section said this: "The Science Lords were the fleeing Reptillicus from the Cliffside Airdock, so it is reasonable to assume that the Jungle holds many Reptilicus. The Primal Masters then followed the Science Lords and took up residence." That's speculation based on speculation based on speculation!

All of the problems above rendered the content unsalvageable, hence my removals. CortexCPU242 (talk) 15:21, 12 June 2022 (UTC)

Thanks for the cleanup. Maybe some history based on scans can be reinstated once I get to corruption data, since I'll be poring over them. Need to get back on that project again. --Madax the Shadow {ADMIN} (talklogscontribs) 22:59, 12 June 2022 (UTC)
