Projectile[]
Do we really know that the creature fires an acid, or is that an assumption? The reason I ask is because the Ice Burrower page calls it "some type of projectile" while this one refers to it as acid. It'd be best if we stayed consistent with information, and it would be better if proven; although it is most likely acid. Well, the scans and manual descriptions make no mention of what type of liquid it is, but it deals damage to Samus and splashes over her visor, so it's obviously some sort of corrosive green liquid. In scifi, 9 times out of 10 that'd be acid. Dazuro 22:46, February 27, 2012 (UTC)
That's exactly what I was thinking, but then I remembered the chaos over the mystery substance in Metroid II. It was obvious what it was, but it wasn't proven... The Exterminator {ADMIN} (talk • e-mail • contribs) 23:09, February 27, 2012 (UTC)
In that case, there legitimately were two competing stories for what it was. Lava and acid both have evidence and precedent in the series. If you or anyone else can name a single substance other than (digestive) acid that this could be, by all means, leave it ambiguous, but I'm not holding my breath. Dazuro 23:50, February 27, 2012 (UTC)
