ChozoBoy, sometimes fact has to be interpreted without written statement from the creator. I'm talking about the name and the temp. They are quite obviously butterflies that buzz. And if you compare the Metroid insects to the DKCR ones, you see they are identical in terms of appearance albeit colored differently. RoyboyX(complaints/records) 13:15, December 19, 2013 (UTC)
Actually, they aren't even colored differently. A direct rip of the textures shows that the underlying texture file is orange in both games- the other colors are produced by using a shader or something to tint the texture. AmorphousBlob (talk) 19:25, December 19, 2013 (UTC)

I've uploaded them to an Imgur gallery. Feel free to upload them here on Wikitroid if you feel they're needed. From what I can see, Retro doesn't preserve filenames in their textures- everything is compressed into archives and labeled as hexadecimal gibberish like 1_22752015.TXTR.
