Light and Dark forms[]
I beleive there's a mistake on one of the pictures that says "The Chykka in its dark adult form" but I am pretty sure that it's the light adult form because there was a significant color change when the Chykka had symbiotic possession. Parkersvx90210 01:18, 17 September 2008 (UTC)

I read the Korakk trivia and it said that the double K means it might be native to byrro. I noticed that Chykka hs double K's so it is possible it is from byrro?(Metroid101 21:28, November 2, 2009 (UTC))
Hermaphrodites[]

The only thing I could find was that the larva scan said that "This is an exceptional bioform with both a dark and light nature." Whoever put this may have been comparing the double nature with the hermaphrodite's double sex. Other than that, nothing refers to it's sex except the egg sack. Allusion[]
I saw the trivia that Chykka was the only boss not alluded to, but I thought in the Light World Torvus, the the Shredders and Shreikers were there to give the hint? Both plant enemies kind of resemble the Adult Chykka, in the wings and body shape. The Shreikers even shoot blasts at Samus somewhat like the Adult Chykka does. Chykka Swimmer[]
Is it possible the Chykka Swimmer animation didn't go unused? During the Light Chykka fight past 50%HP, the ramming attack could be a possible resemblance (And then maybe it absorbed Dark Water while underwater, but who knows what the original set-up could have been).
