Not a part of the ship?[]

Judging from the appearance of the Exterior Docking Hanger, I don't believe that it is a part of the ship, maybe a small station that pirate frigates dock on to. It is huge, and just doesn't strike me as a part of the ship like the hangar of say the Olympus does. Should there be a trivia section mentioning this? I just can't believe their frigates would be flying around with giant platforms attached to them. Anyone agree? RedShirtGuy96 (talk) 00:05, January 8, 2014 (UTC)

More likely that the Pirates are weird and they build landing sites open to space. RoyboyX(complaints/records) 03:12, January 8, 2014 (UTC)

Well should at least some mention be made of how ridiculously large it is compared to the ship itself? RedShirtGuy96 (talk) 23:21, January 10, 2014 (UTC)

I think it's a separate construction that's attached to the ship to eneble docking while it is in orbit. There are several leads to this:

  1. This scan image shows that there is no External Docking Bay on the left side of the ship, making it asymmetrical. This means that if the ship were to fly, it would start rotating.
  2. This scan tells us that Orheon is docked at Vortex Outpost; it isn't in motion, but docked. I think the External Docking Bay is just that; an external system that is used to dock ships and connect them.

Gravity Function[]

How in the stars can Samus jump that high into space??? Is there a Gravity Feature somewhere in this room? Because I am currently confused as to how the Gravity functions in her Power/Varia Suit. [HINT: Compare this situation to Corruptions' air lock and Valhalla details.] DarkraiShadowXZ (talk) 22:25, May 19, 2019 (UTC)
