Room below this one[]
If you look closely, you'll see that the magma right below this bridge is part of the very same pool that's harvested as geothermal energy. Since this article discusses the generator and the background here quite a bit anyway, maybe we should expand its scope to include the space below the bridge as well? They don't connect directly, but then again, neither do the two halves of the Broken Lift or Hive Dynamo Works. CortexCPU242 (talk) 06:15, 14 June 2022 (UTC)
- Those are confirmed to be part of the same room. This is not. It's akin to the room above the Artaria entrance, from which the water that floods it comes, but they're not directly connected. RoyboyX(complaints/records) 18:09, 14 June 2022 (UTC)
- The distinctions between rooms become arbitary when you're dealing with a game that names none and often connects them in other ways than doors. The logic regarding what counts a room isn't even consistent in the games that *do* name them; see for example Data Shrine rooms in Hunters, each of which actually consists of multiple enclosed spaces. Whether two places in Dread constitute the same room is entirely up to us decide, since I think even the devs themselves consider this moot.
- Anyway, I don't think you can compare this situation to the distinction between the Artaria entrance and the EMMI room above. Those are two different caves, while the rooms/spaces/whatever we're discussing here are located in the same cave that just has a bridge crossing over it. This article already discusses the lava lake outside the bridge, and the space below it is the explorable portion of said lava lake. I still think it's reasonable to cover both here. - I think it makes a lot of sense for this to cover both rooms, as they do exist in the same local area with the same background. --Madax the Shadow {ADMIN} (talk • logs • contribs) 17:26, 15 June 2022 (UTC)
