Egg[]
Actually, I think Echoes had them spawn from a Metroid Cocoon, or something like that. Whatever it was, it needs to be in this article and not Egg, then it needs an article made for it. ChozoBoy [ADMIN] (Talk/Contribs) 16:49, 7 April 2009 (UTC)
The cocoons were bioengineered by Pirates and were not where the Metroids were born. It was for transportation purposes. The Infants only emerged when the sensed Phazon and were born from eggs. Hellkaiserryo12 17:00, 7 April 2009 (UTC)
Ok, thanks! That sounds right. Still needs an article and mention in this one, though. We don't even have a Metroid Egg article either (which could use that neat congealing aspect that Matt Manchester noticed). When counting the stages of the life cycle, shouldn't Eggs and Cocoons be counted in the number, too? The Cocoon article should actually probably have a "natural" (MII/MF) and "artificial" (MP2E) section, too. ChozoBoy [ADMIN] (Talk/Contribs) 17:07, 7 April 2009 (UTC)
- Okay, Metroid Eggs- I don't think they need an article because there isn't much to say. Carriers- can be unde Space Pirate Tech, or or somethin'. Coccoons are in Phazon Metroid's Cycle correct? That might be somewhat worthy. I'm ~Crystal_Lucario~ And I approve this message.19:54, 7 April 2009 (UTC)
The eggs and cocoons both definately need articles. I don't recall Phazon Metroids having anything to do with cocoons. Natural ones are seen in MII:RoS and Fusion. They from around a Metroid turning into an Alpha Metroid and the subsequent ones. Samus finds discarded ones of increasingly greater size throughout the games. The artificial one is a scan in Echoes and holds Infant Tallon Metroids.
Eggs have been seen in MIIRoS (end), Super Metroid (beginning), and MP3:C from what I recall. Matt Manchester made an interesting observation that the inside fluids seem to congeal almost immediately after exposure to air, which he modeled the 3D ones to look like. He's got nice pics of them, too. ChozoBoy [ADMIN] (Talk/Contribs) 22:36, 7 April 2009 (UTC)
