I've never seen a Lightbringer in the game after getting the dark beam, so how do you know they can be destroyed by it? Besides, wouldn't the annihilator beam make more sense, since it takes a matter-antimatter burst to kill them? Is there something in the game I'm missing?

Its K, I fixed it. I see what you mean though... is the guy who wrote the article that stupid? I also wrote a bit on the Annihilator Beam article about how Lightbringers can be defeated by Annihilator Beam.

Are you sure this is a glitch? Edit

Because the scan implies it can only be killed by an antimatter combo, and you can kill it with Annhilator. --RoyboyX 02:43, December 17, 2009 (UTC)

Dark Beam Edit

So, what exactly happens when the Lightbringer is shot with a Dark Beam shot? Does it stop moving or does it keep going with a dark cluster surrounding it? Also when killed with an Annhilator shot, does it explode into goo or into crystal shards (im curious to know if its an organic creature or not)? I can guess this has only been tried out through cheating/hacking, unless there is a sequence break that allows Samus to get the Dark Beam early on before the Lightbringers disappear.(Latinlingo 01:31, June 27, 2010 (UTC))
