Split Grab Sequence[]

We should have a page summarizing what occurs in a Grab Sequence. RoyboyX(complaints/records) 18:40, 18 June 2021 (UTC)

We can always describe that on the articles for the bosses themselves, which are listed here anyway. CortexCPU242 (talk) 20:28, 7 November 2021 (UTC)

Enemies vulnerable to the Dash Melee[]

I believe we shouldn't list every enemy that can be killed with the Dash Melee here. Pretty much every regular enemy in Dread (to my knowledge) can be killed with enough Dash Melees, and even if we make a rule like "only include the ones that go down from a single hit", this info gets fuzzy and hard to verify because the Varia and Gravity Suits (which cannot be turned off on the fly and require some advanced sequence breaking to face every enemy without them) both increase the strength of the Dash Melee.

This seems to have started because I added the Rock Diver, which dies from a single slap even if you're standing while performing it. User:PeabodySam understandably misinterpreted this as me meaning that it dies from a running melee attack, which is also true, but wasn't what I meant when adding the creature. See above for why I didn't list the Kreep, for example. CortexCPU242 (talk) 20:28, 7 November 2021 (UTC)

I definitely see your point about most enemies technically being able to be killed by the Dash Melee. But I do think it would still be worth noting which enemies can be taken down in a single Dash Melee, even if they should be listed separately from the standard Melee/Lightning Counter enemies; this sort of information would be useful to knowing which enemies are safe to "plow through". After all, Kreep was already listed on the article before you added Rock Diver, so there must be some interest in the subject. The only issue comes in the Varia/Gravity strength boosts making it more difficult to test, as you said. --PeabodySam (talk) 20:51, 7 November 2021 (UTC)
