Nobody really knows. Obviously, Nintendo didn't expect people to notice all the things not explained. MarioGalaxy2433g5{Metroid/Mario Admin} {talk/contribs/Logs} 20:53, 24 February 2008 (UTC)
2000 or 20X5. They all happen within a 20 year time span. Samus currently is somewhaat around 30 or so... 23:09, August 2, 2011 (UTC)
While she does not appear to have aged at all in that time period, it makes sense that her Chozo enhancements would have included some form of increased longevity. Going off of the technology we see used by the Galactic Federation, assuming that: Humans were at that technological level when the Federation was founded, that no cataclysmic event interrupted the current rate of technological progress, and that Humanity developed that technology on its own (w/o getting any from another more advanced species), I would VERY roughly guesstimate that Metroid takes place approximately 100, 150 years from now. I suspect that the "20X5" years refer to a Chozo calender that starts when the Chozo first achieved true space flight. Purely speculative, but it makes sense. Yes. And the Prime series seems to happen within 5 years of each other, and then a year later, Samus eridicates the MEtroids, then blows up Zebes, then at least 6 months later, the Bottle Ship, then finally, Samus becomes part Metroid.....Hmmmm. I guess it all haapens within 10 to 15 years, I guess. 00:12, August 3, 2011 (UTC)

Caption for Metroid species image?[edit source]

The "This is a Metroid" caption should probably be changed to the more specific "This is a Tallon Metroid" or the entire image should be changed to something more general. It's too ambigious otherwise. 18:44, July 21, 2018 (UTC)

Edit request[edit source]

Remove the colon in "Metroid Prime: Hunters". It is incorrect. 18:52, August 23, 2018 (UTC)
