Name[]
Shouldn't this be under the unknown name category?Samuslovr1 00:16, 12 January 2009 (UTC)
No Samus iscool talk. 01:23, 12 January 2009 (UTC)
Yeah.
Unless somebody has a guide they could look at. ChozoBoy 06:31, 12 January 2009 (UTC)
I only ask this because in the trivia portion of Chozo Hieroglyphic, it states The Chozo Hieroglyphic has no official name. Different people identify it by different names, such as the Chozo Spirit, Clone Orb, Chozo Painting, Ruins Test, Chozo Ghost (not to be confused with the Chozo Ghosts that appear in Metroid Prime), Chozo Warrior Orb Trap, Chozo Warrior Engraving, One Suit Guardian, or Chozo Mirror. So, I think it should be in the unknown name category.Samuslovr1 21:03, 12 January 2009 (UTC)
I have the guide. It's Ruins Test Samus iscool talk. 22:47, 12 January 2009 (UTC)
Then it needs to be renamed. 76.116.90.5 10:12, 13 January 2009 (UTC)
While it may be called "Ruins Test" in the guide, I came across a Q&A recently. It's fairly old. It's in Japanese here: http://metroid.jp/metroid_version2/development/faq.html
This Q&A with Yoshio Sakamoto when it was translated in English, called this "Ruins Test," "Ordeal of Spirit." That does not make sense in English, but "Spirit of Ordeal" would. "Spirit of Ordeal" is likely the official name, especially if it's coming from the co-creator of Metroid. You can find it here: http://www.fanfiction.net/topic/4819/1419028/1/

"Ordeal of Spirit" makes perfect sense in English, at least if one treats "spirit" as a quality like "strength" (c.f. "Ordeal of Strength"), as Sakamoto evidently is in the interview.
Super Metroid?[]
I know this is somewhat off topic, but you know those wierd little round symbols in the room where you get...what was it...it was after the morph ball, but before the bombs. Anyway, before you activate the...whatever it is you activate (space pirate silent alarm? I dunno.) the symbols look like the ruins test symbols. To me, at least. *whoo*! I'm outta metaphorical breath now! --DekutullaZM 00:16, October 16, 2009 (UTC)
You mean the Koma?--AdmiralSakai 22:01, October 1, 2010 (UTC)
Name of Room[]
Is there a specific name for the room the Ruins Test boss is fought in?
- Not that I've ever found. RoyboyX(complaints/records) 23:07, July 14, 2019 (UTC)
- That's okay. The room this boss is fought in is unreturnable. But I believe this article is about the boss itself, right? DarkraiShadowXZ (talk) 23:12, July 14, 2019 (UTC)
- Yes. RoyboyX(complaints/records) 23:13, July 14, 2019 (UTC)

Color clasification[]
Just to be clear, is this creature's (?) official body color blue with green as in-game (during Battle)? Or is it silver and emerald like in the artwork (First picture of page)? DarkraiShadowXZ (talk) 01:55, July 16, 2019 (UTC)
