Don't recall water being on Arcterra. --RoyboyX{ADMIN} 22:44, July 14, 2010 (UTC)

You can hear dripping.

Maybe we should make a separate article for ice. ChozoBoy [ADMIN] (Talk/Contribs) 20:23, July 15, 2010 (UTC)

We sort of do. --RoyboyX{ADMIN} 21:01, July 15, 2010 (UTC)

Frigidite is a solid form of another compound. (Still ice, but not water ice.) Its sort of a weird spot since ice isn't much of a gameplay element like water, in this series. You do have to break it occasionally with the Charge Beam, etc. so I guess that could count for something. ChozoBoy [ADMIN] (Talk/Contribs) 21:07, July 15, 2010 (UTC)

Crateria water[]

Hey, i was just playing super metroid, and the area RIGHT before entering the Wrecked Ship contains water and skulteras like in Zero Mission correct? Now the thing is, unlike Zero Mission's version of that area, it is now in an open area (as in, no longer inside a cavern like Zero Mission), meaning these pools of water are exposed to the acid rain of Zebes! Perhaps that specific water is somewhat mixed with acid? I was thinking of adding this to the trivia section, but first wanted to know what people think of this.(Latinlingo 15:43, August 13, 2010 (UTC))

That does seem possible. --RoyboyX{ADMIN} 15:56, August 13, 2010 (UTC)

Well, if the water's open and Crateria IS constantly drenched by acid rain, it wouldn't make sense that the water isn't slightly acidic. But it wouldn't be acidic enough for it to harm Samus, plus, due to the physical adaptations she had gone through while on Zebes, she isn't harmed by the rain itself, which would be more concentrated. Then again, water in the real world is never pure unless made so by humans. Though it is considered to have a neutral PH, it is always slightly acidic because of many things. So I don't think it's important.

Also, Maridia is said to be a subterrainian ocean and Crateria is very close to it. The water in Crateria and Maridia could be salt water.
