Target

Targets in Nintendo Land are an obstacle in Metroid Blast. These target boards float around and present a challenge to the playing Mii character in the tutorials. The character must shoot at the constantly moving targets, which are destroyed with one shot, but then regenerate. Some targets contain a grey dot, which is also destructible with one shot. Sometimes, a group of the latter will gather around the former type of target, and this target must be shot three times to destroy it and the rest.

The Target is also a randomly-unlocked coin prize from the Central Tower. When activated, it floats around much in the same way as in Metroid Blast.

"Fire beams and bombs at targets. They move nice and smoothly, making them ideal for practice. You might win the entire game if you shoot them all. Sorry, that was completely untrue."
