|leftimg =
|rightimg =
|mp3img =

Parameters

placement

The placement parameter is for situations where multiple logbooks are placed consecutively on a page. There are three values which the placement parameter accepts:

  • top
Produces a logbook with no bottom.
  • center
Produces a logbook with no top or bottom.
  • bottom
Produces a logbook with no top.

Leaving the parameter blank, or omitting it, produces a normal logbook.

Note: When joining logbooks together, ensure there is no space between the two instances. The closing braces of one should be touching the opening braces of the next. Proper placement looks like this:

title

Determines the title of the logbook. By default, the title will be the title of the page, so this parameter can usually be omitted or left blank.

Note: To produce a logbook that has no visible title, enter the value blank as the title, like so:

game

Determines the game link that appears underneath the title. If left blank, the link will not appear. This field can be filled out manually using standard wikitext, but it also accepts several shorthand values:

  • mp1
Links to Metroid Prime.
  • mph
Links to Metroid Prime Hunters.
  • mp2b
Links to Metroid Prime 2: Echoes Bonus Disc.
  • mp2
Links to Metroid Prime 2: Echoes.
  • mp3
Links to Metroid Prime 3: Corruption.
  • mp3p
Links to Metroid Prime 3: Corruption (2006 prototype).
  • mps
Links to Metroid Prime (series).

leftimg / rightimg

These parameters determine which image(s) appear to the left and right of the scan body. Each can be filled with one or more full-size photos, like so:

Do not make the images thumbs, or attempt to add positioning within the image tag. The logbook template handles resizing and placement automatically.

When placing multiple logbooks consecutively, you may want to align them with each other even though they don't have the same number of images. In this case, the value blank can be used to produce a logbook with an "empty" image that still occupies space. Proper usage looks like this:

mp3img

Used specifically for scan images from Metroid Prime 3, which have a special layout. If the mp3img parameter is filled, leftimg and rightimg will not be displayed, as these parameters are mutually exclusive. This parameter should be filled with only one full-size photo, like so:

Note: mp3img does not accept a blank value like leftimg and rightimg do. To align other logbooks with a logbook that has mp3img filled, you must place blank in their leftimg and rightimg parameters instead.

temp

Determines the text beneath the "Temporary scan" heading. Accepts standard wikitext. If left blank, the heading will not appear.

text

Determines the text beneath the "Logbook entry" heading. Accepts standard wikitext. If left blank, the heading will not appear.

inv_text

Determines the text beneath the "Inventory entry" heading. Accepts standard wikitext. If left blank, the heading will not appear.

sam_notes

Determines the text beneath the "Samus's Notes" heading. Accepts standard wikitext. If left blank, the heading will not appear.

notes

Determines the text beneath the "Notes" heading. Accepts standard wikitext. If left blank, the heading will not appear.
