The Elders[1] is a theme in Metroid Prime Hunters. It was composed by Lawrence Schwedler.
Description[]
The theme plays in the second half of Alinos. It begins playing when Samus enters the Alimbic Gardens on her second visit to the planet. The theme is likely meant to build up to the Crash Site where Gorea is believed to have impacted. After Samus acquires the second Octolith from this area, The Elders is permanently replaced with Alinos, the main theme of the planet. After defeating Gorea's second form, The Elders is available as track 27 in the Music Test.
This theme is much slower, more solemn and eerie than the general theme on Alinos, conveying a feeling of sadness due to the devastation Gorea inflicted on the Alimbic race. It is underscored by a low brooding choir, while the melody is performed on high strings.
