The Luminoth is a theme from Metroid Prime 2: Echoes, composed by Kenji Yamamoto.
It plays whenever Samus Aran talks to U-Mos or restores an Energy Controller. It also plays in the Sky Temple Gateway and at the end of the game when Samus returns from her battle with the Emperor Ing, liberating Aether. In Energy Controller restoration cutscenes, the theme is shorter and omits the later choral melody. In Metroid Prime Trilogy, it is available for purchase in the Soundtrack Gallery for one Silver Credit.
The Luminoth prominently features rich choral chanting conveying a sense of hope, combined with chimes in its first half and various percussive instruments in its second half. Some of its instruments and melodies are used in other Echoes tracks, including the Sun Generator themes, Dark Echoes, Moth Temple Reveal Intro, Prologue, and the original Key Attainment Jingle.
The general theme can be heard here, while the Energy Controller restoring cutscene version can be heard here.
