The rebirth of a classic Metroid adventure (known as De wedergeboorte van een klassiek Metroid-avontuur in Dutch) is a short trailer for Metroid: Samus Returns. It was uploaded to the Nintendo Belgiƫ/Belgium YouTube channel on September 1, 2017. Part of the Staff Credit theme plays throughout the trailer; specifically, the last stanza that is a remix of the Surface theme.
The trailer is a sequence of gameplay clips played on a screen, which is bordered by the hexagonal interface seen in other Samus Returns trailers. The clips include Samus exiting her Gunship and proceeding into the Surface, using the Spider Ball, dodging the Arachnus's swipe projectile, opening a Charge Door, obtaining the Varia Suit, using the Lightning Armor, Grapple Beam, and Melee Counter, the Diggernaut Encounter and battling an Omega Metroid. The final two clips show the first Metroid larva in Area 8 and then Samus pointing her Arm Cannon at the Queen Metroid. The trailer ends with the game's boxart, release date, PEGI rating, footage of the game on a New Nintendo 3DS and 2DS XL, and the Nintendo logo.
