Tim Bechtel is the current president Nintendo Software Technology and former director of Nintendo of America's Product Development and Publishing department, where he has worked for over thirty years since July 1990. Bechtel handled brand coordination, marketing, business development, coordination and North American music licensing for Nintendo's products, including the two most recent games in the Metroid series, Metroid Prime: Federation Force and Metroid: Samus Returns. Bechtel was a product tester for Nintendo as well in the late 1990s.
