Time Attack is an alternate game mode in Metroid: Zero Mission, which is set on Normal Mode difficulty. It is unlocked by pressing "Up, Left, Right, Down" on the "Start Game" option of the Samus Data Screen. The player's time and item collection percentage will be saved once they beat the game on this setting.
If a player beats Time Attack, they also unlock a menu in Options that shows their best Time Attack accomplishments for 100% and non-100% completions. The record gallery also shows the ID and Password of the score.
