Toshihiko Okamoto is a designer and coordinator at Nintendo SPD. He became senior planner there in 2011. Okamoto has frequently worked with Retro Studios, including as a coordination assistant for Metroid Prime 3: Corruption and Metroid Prime Trilogy. Okamoto is also credited under special thanks in Metroid Prime 2: Echoes, and coordination in its New Play Control! port and that of the original Metroid Prime.
Additionally, he coordinated Metroid Prime Hunters with Akiya Sakamoto, although he is only credited in the Japanese version of the game.[1] After the Metroid Prime series, he assisted Retro with the level design of Donkey Kong Country Returns, 3D and Tropical Freeze.
