Trainstation[1] is an ambient theme from Metroid Dread. Composed by Soshi Abe, Sayako Doi, or both, it plays in each Shuttle station.

The theme is very simple, consisting merely of a pair of string instruments. The deeper of these plays two falling notes, while the higher-pitched one plays a single note that is repeated each time the deeper string sounds. These create a sense of anticipation, befitting the Shuttles' role as interludes between areas. Trainstation is similar in role and musical style to Mysterious Statue Chamber and the theme of the Stone Statues in Metroid: Zero Mission, but is less ominous.
