VS. Core-X, Chozo Statue Second Form (VS.コアX、 鳥人像第二形態)[1] is a boss theme in Metroid Fusion. It is used when battling the Core-X forms of the Elephant Bird and Nettori, both of which were X Parasites previously mimicking the appearance of a Chozo Statue. The theme begins with the sound of an X Parasite mimic forming, and then breaks into a semi-repetitive melody. The theme stops, of course, when the Core-X is destroyed.
