VS. Ishtar, Gedo (VS.イシュタル、 ゲドゥ)[1] is a music theme from Metroid Fusion. It was composed by Minako Hamano and Akira Fujiwara.

VS. Ishtar, Gedo plays during the boss fights against Serris in Sector 4 (AQA) and Yakuza in the Reactor Silo. The theme's name refers to their respective Japanese names, Ishtar (Serris) and Gedo (Yakuza).
VS. Ishtar, Gedo is an exciting high-energy track. A hard-hitting bass note gives it power, and the quickly-moving series of electronic notes gives it a fast pace. The slower high-pitched notes slowly build up to a heroic melody. It can be heard here: [1]
Trivia[]
- Part of the melody bears striking resemblance to Lugia's song from Pokémon the Movie 2000. While Pokémon is another major Nintendo franchise, no other connection between the two songs has ever been confirmed, so this is most likely coincidence.
