Vesper Gateway[1] is a "mysterious", electronic multiplayer theme in Metroid Prime Hunters. As the name might suggest, it plays on stages based on rooms explored on the Vesper Defense Outpost rooms, including the VDO Gateway, as well as Outer Reach and Head Shot. It is also available in the game's Music Test. A faster-paced version also plays in Adventure Mode, in the Fuel Stack room as Samus races to the top to avert a catastrophic explosion.
Unlike The Outpost, the main theme of the VDO in the story mode, this theme is darker in tone. The name "Vesper Gateway" is used in one instance in the Metroid Prime Hunters Official Nintendo Player's Guide on page 122 to describe the Landing Site. Vesper Gateway was composed by Lawrence Schwedler and James Phillipsen.
