The Lamorn Neuro Bike Mark VII, more commonly known as the Vi-O-La (ヴァイオラ Vaiora)[1], is a vehicle appearing in Metroid Prime 4: Beyond. It is a motorcycle-like machine created in the Volt Forge on Viewros during the Machine Era. It can be driven by Samus Aran. The Vi-O-La Suit is required to pilot it.
The vehicle can only be summoned in areas large enough to occupy it, such as Sol Valley, and parts of the Volt Forge and Flare Pool. It is able to traverse up to 1,000 ls/h, though its speed is reduced in smaller areas for safety.
The Vi-O-La is able to boost using charges, which can be increased using Vi-O-La Boost Tanks. For offensive purposes, the rear seat launches a homing glaive that can lock-on to multiple targets.
Vi-O-La IC[]
The Vi-O-La IC is the hovering mode of the Vi-O-La. When approaching magma or lava, the vehicle automatically transforms. The vehicle will only enter this state when its rider dons the Vi-O-La IC Suit.
