"Vs. Desbrachian" is an unnamed theme from the soundtrack of Metroid: Other M.
Description[]
It plays in the presence of a Desbrachian and acts as the creature's main theme. The first time this theme is heard is during the battle of Samus Aran and Federation Marines against MB, where she summons Desbrachians to defend her. This is the only instance of the track heard during the main story, and it essentially acts as MB's boss theme. The theme can be heard again during the postgame segment if Samus triggers a battle against one of these dormant creatures. Because there is a finite number of Desbrachians onboard the BOTTLE SHIP and they do not respawn, this track can only be heard for a limited amount of times during one playthrough.
Much of the track consists of a repeating percussion rhythm and lacks a discernible melody. It is accompanied by heavier, harsher percussive beats or, more rarely, tense brass chords.
