The Weapons Complex is a room on the Vesper Defense Outpost. It appears in Metroid Prime Hunters.
Notably, this is the room where Samus Aran encounters the Bounty Hunter Sylux for the first time. Sylux would later be seen in the Special Endings of Metroid Prime 3: Corruption and Metroid Prime: Federation Force before his antagonistic role in Metroid Prime 4: Beyond.
Description[]
The complex consists of three floors with separate chambers containing a number of Alimbic mechanoids and weapon systems (hence the name). The chambers are connected by maze-like corridors and automatic lifts. Many passageways in the complex are covered by frozen fuel or ice that Samus cannot melt or destroy, forcing her to find ways around it. Doors in the Weapons Complex project a "honeycomb"-like field over their entryways, which are visible when standing at a distance. They disappear when Samus walks through them.
The Complex contains Attameter and Cartograph Artifacts, used to open the path to the first Stronghold Void. As stated, Sylux accosts Samus in the Weapons Complex, and during their battle Samus engages with his ship, the Delano 7, for the only time in the game.
Some ceilings in the complex are open to space, but aside from making it possible for the Delano 7 (and presumably other spaceships) to be called in and attack enemies, this does not affect any Bounty Hunter in Adventure Mode.

Multiplayer[]
The Weapons Complex is a playable stage in the game's multiplayer mode. Unlike its single-player counterpart, the Weapons Complex in multiplayer contains several holes in the floor where Bounty Hunters can die by falling into outer space. The complex has low gravity in exposed areas (such as the mentioned pits in addition to rooms lacking a ceiling), but stable gravity in sheltered areas. Spire can guard the rings in Nodes matches, which are found on small platforms, using the Fire Blade of his Dialanche to knock opponents away. Spire and Sylux, in his Lockjaw form, are capable of reaching the top of the map.
The Weapons Complex is not available by default. Fourteen local games must be played to unlock it.
