Wide Beam Cover

A Wide Beam Cover is a new type of door obstacle in Metroid Dread. They are brown-colored shields placed over Power Beam Doors, and can only be removed using the Wide Beam. The first cover that can be destroyed is in the Wide Beam's Item Room in Dairon; there is also a cover in Cataris blocking access to the area's Central Unit. Like the similar Wide Beam Boxes in Dread, covers are decorated with three nodes connected to a circuit. All three nodes must be shot simultaneously (with the Wide Beam only) to remove the shield.
