Yojimbees[1] are a species of swarming creatures seen in Ferenia and Hanubia.
Description[]
Yojimbees have wide, flat bodies, and float through the air with a wriggling motion. Their coloration is primarily black, with luminescent yellow-green patterns along their "wings". They are exclusively found in swarms, and upon detecting Samus, will pause to orient themselves at her before surging forward in a direct line.
A similar aquatic species, the Redenki, is found in Burenia.
After the X Parasites are released from quarantine in Elun, Yojimbees are infected by tiny X Parasites, but their appearance and behavior are unchanged.
