A Zebian-class research frigate is a class of research frigate used by the Space Pirates. It is only referenced in an unused scan in the Exterior Docking Hangar aboard the Frigate Orpheon, which is identified in said scan as belonging to this class. The Frigates Siriacus and Vol Paragom likely belong to this class as well.

The name "Zebian" is very similar to the demonym Zebesian and likely constitutes an alternate spelling of the word. Given this fact, and the Orpheon's resemblance to the Space Pirate Mother Ship that landed on Zebes, it is possible that the Mother Ship is also a Zebian-class ship.
